I don't know the whole story, but I'm 90% certain that it has to do with the "Trainwreckers" vs. "Heaven Nose" blog wars.
I hope it dies down soon, because I want to read her again, too!

I've never been one of her readers... too many blogs, and i gotta work every once in a while.
However - trainwrecks has been ripping people up ... and i could understand her closing up shop.

Those blogs only had a little to do with it. She feels she needs to be able to speak her mind without having to devote energy to defending her every word to people who just don't get it.

Thank God I've stumbled onto someone asking exactly what I've been wondering. The Trainwreck thing...ok, yeah I know that one but not the Heaven Nose. But the thing is I always thought Manuela was more than a match for any troll, blog or arsehole out there who wanted to have a go at her. Anytime she was attacked it was as if she simply got material to write yet another fabulously impassioned post. But it sounds as if there was one particular incident at fault...
